Close up art phtotograph - stag's horn fern - platycerium
A close up art photograph of a fallen platycerium leaf -stag's horn fern or staghorn fern- as it begins to turn from green to yellow. The bifurcated leaves of the stag are its sex organs, producing the spores. Staghorns aren't deciduous, but their leaves do age and fall. This is part of the Natural Abstraction collection of fine art photographs.
